Propyzamide 50% WDG

It is used as a weed herbicide for small-seed legumes, peanuts, soybeans, potatoes, lettuce and some cash crops in orchards. Promethazine is a systemic and conductive selective amide herbicide. Its mechanism of action is through root absorption and conduction. Chemicalbook interferes with the mitosis of weed cells. It mainly controls monocotyledonous weeds and is safe for broad-leaved crops. The effective period in the soil can reach about 60 days. It can effectively control the emergence of weeds, even after emergence, they can still absorb the drug through the coleoptile and die.

Also control of Poa annua in Bermuda grass, Zoysia, and certain other turf species. Used either pre-emergence or early post-emergence. Rates vary from 0.56-2.2 kg/ha.
Phytotoxicity	Certain varieties of lettuce may be injured at higher dose rates.
Mammalian Toxicology	Oral Acute oral LD50 for male rats 8350, female rats 5620, dogs >10 000 mg/kg. Skin and eye: Acute percutaneous LD50 for rabbits >3160 mg/kg. Slightly irritating to eyes and skin. Inhalation: LC50 for rats >5.0 mg/l.
